A little bit about me and what I do… |

My name is Katie and I’m an airbrush artist hence the name Katie’s Airbrush Art! I’ve been airbrushing now for 7 years. It has taken a lot of practise to achieve the level of skill that I’m at but I’m also aware that I will never stop learning new ways to create beautiful pieces of art work and for that I’m thankful. Whenever any one asks me “how did you learn to airbrush” I tell them that there are no easy fixes you just have to practise, practise and more practise, you have to be dedicated and sometimes it takes a lot of blood, sweat and tears to persevere but you’ll get there in the end and it is more than worth it. |

I am lucky enough to have airbrushed quite a few jackets and waistcoats (I think I could say well in to the hundreds by now!!) and also some motorbikes. I enjoy working on leather the most because it gives me a nice flat area to create my master piece on. The paints that I use are very durable and flexible which means that they wear well and move with the leather so that it doesn’t crack and/or peel off (unless you come off your bike and go skidding down the road on your back, then it might come off, but you can’t blame me for that!!!). I have a number of designs in my portfolio but I would much rather work from your own designs and ideas to give you a unique and personal piece of art work on your jacket/waistcoat.
